Live-out, Full Time Nanny/Pet Care/Housekeeper (CanadianNanny.ca) - Abbotsford, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) Hello! We are looking for a full-time nanny for our two children, our son age 4.5, and our baby girl, 12 months in April. We require a mid-April start for all school days Monday to Friday, including Pro-D Days, and excluding stats, Summer, Spring, and Winter breaks. Hours would be approximately 7:30 am-3:30/4 pm. Ideally we would like a long-term nanny so our children can bond and establish a healthy relationship with their nanny caregiver. Our two children are genuinely happy and love playing and meeting new people. They are fairly easygoing and require no specific needs other than general care, lots of play, and care and attention. There will also be some days and afternoons where the grandmas will take one of the children for some special grandparent time, leaving you with only one child to care for. We would require our nanny to drive our oldest son to preschool three times a week in the Spring, and to Kindergarten in the Fall. We also have an Airedale dog named Libby. She is extremely friendly and also loves people, a walk two or three times a week with the children would be appreciated. In terms of housekeeping and laundry, only light jobs would be required (sweeping floor, unloading dishwasher, putting clothes in dryer, etc), as we have a housekeeper that comes in twice a month. Our general expectation is that care for our children always comes first before any light housekeeping duties. We are looking forward to having a nanny as another friend/caregiver that our children can grow and learn from! Please visit www.canadiannanny.ca to view full details and to apply. Full Time, Live in or out Nanny/Housekeeper (CanadianNanny.ca) - Kamloops, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) Hello, We are new to town, and looking for a full time nanny/housekeeper for our 12 month old son. The way it will work is this. I work shift work, and my husband works from home. My shifts are irregularly scheduled, but my hours work out to roughly 356 hours every 70 days. Looking at it another way, I work an average of FOUR 12 hour shifts, every 10 days. Your hours will work primarily around my schedule. We will pay a monthly salary, which will be negotiated when we find the right person. But don't worry, It will be a living wage, as your first priority is to us even though your work hours are not the standard 40 hour work week. (Personally I think this will be a pretty sweet gig for the right person!) There MAY be some nights involved (we haven't actually decided on nights yet), as well as some weekends. I will know my schedule in advance so you are able to find other work to subsidize your income with us should you wish. I start my new job March 17, but you will start about 2 weeks before that to make sure that you and my son are familiar with each other. This is suitable for someone who currently has no work, or is currently working but with a very flexible work schedule. Like I said, we are your first priority/full time family, but there is plenty of other time to work for another family after the schedule with us has been set. Ideally we are looking for someone live out.... However. If the right person is currently not located in Kamloops we can discuss a short term live in accommodation while you find a more permanent place. Maximum 3 months. A little about our family. Myself and my husband are moving to Kamloops from Maple Ridge as I have transferred with work. I work in emergency services and my husband works from home as a computer IT consultant. My son is now 12 months as of a couple days ago. So he will be about 13.5 months when the job starts. He is a very explorative, curious, busy, and strong willed little boy. He is currently on a 2 nap a day schedule based on wake time. He rarely shows signs that he is tired until your bedtime/nap time routine starts. He is breastfed and takes a bottle fine. Eats solids well, although I think he is going to be a picky eater like his dad. We practice AP parenting for sleep and a combination of RIE/AP for raising kids. It will help if you are familiar with these parenting styles. :D If you feel like you are interested in learning more please contact me. We can talk to you over Skype as we wont be in Kamloops until Feb 16 when we take possession of our new house in Aberdeen near Pacific Way elementary. References required. I have never left my baby with anyone before, so this is a completely new, and frankly unsettling experience for me. Hopefully we find a good match that works for everyone. Looking forward to hearing from you! :D Please visit www.canadiannanny.ca to view full details and to apply. FREE REGISTRATION and lots of jobs to choose from!

Full Time, Live-out Nanny (CanadianNanny.ca) - Vancouver, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) My husband and I are looking for a full-time nanny to start in early February. My husband works in IT for Whole Foods Market and I work for YYoga as an accountant. We have a one year old son, Stellan, who is very intelligent, curious, and active. He loves being read to and shown new things. Live out, Part Time Nanny/Pet Care/Light housework (CanadianNanny.ca) - Surrey, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) We're a family of four and with a new puppy. We have two school age children and live within walking distance of school. Right now our first priority is getting the puppy well trained and socialized. We'd like someone who is familiar with dogs or who is wiling to learn so the work we are doing with our pup will be carried over into the time you are here. She will grow to be about 30 lbs, which is on the small side for a medium dog. We need someone Monday to Friday from either 12 or 1 to 5. The first part of the afternoon will involve walking and spending time with the puppy as well as laundry and some housework. We are tidy people and would like help to maintain that. A load or two of laundry a day will mean it is never a big job. As for the housework, ideally we'd have someone who can choose one day a week to focus on that, or set up a routine of a few jobs a day. The kids will need supervision after school to stay on the right track and make good decisions. They are well behaved, kind, funny and talkative kids. They may want to have a friend or two over from time to time. Supervising good snack choices, that they clean up after themselves and light dinner preparation would be expected as well. Ideally we'd like to find someone who's a good fit for a longer term, but will try someone for short term too. Please visit www.canadiannanny.ca to view full details and to apply. Part Time, Live out Nanny (CanadianNanny.ca) - Vancouver, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) Greetings, My husband and I are looking for 1-2 day a week nanny or babysitter and an on call babysitter for our 7 month old little girl. We are located in the West End and would like the caregiver to come to our home. Our daughter Vienna, is a kind hearted, people oriented little one who is comfortable with other caregivers. We are looking for a kind, emotionally healthy, patient, female nurturer who has experience working with infants. We are hoping to develop a long term relationship with someone who can be an instrumental part of our family as we grow over the next few years. We expect our careers to become somewhat more demanding, yet we are committed to being actively involved in our children's lives and activities. We are diligent but trusting. The days can be set each week or flex. There is opportunity to have more hours if you'd like to be on call. Also open to a full time nanny share with another family. My work schedule is somewhat sporadic, so a babysitter will help fill in the times when I'm called out for a couple of hours if they fall on a day outside the caregiver's time. Full Time, Live-out Nanny/Light housework (CanadianNanny.ca) - Vancouver, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our family and our needs. My husband and I are looking for a nurturing and experienced individual to look after the love of our lives, our beautiful 8-month old son Anand. We know that all of our needs will be best served by someone who can maintain baby?s schedule while helping his parents with the daily household chores. We are both full-time working parents, and as such we need someone for 30-40 hours/week, from Monday to Friday. An applicant who is able to occasionally babysit in the evening (while baby is sleeping) would be lovely, but not a requirement. As we plan on expanding our family, we are keen to find someone with a long-term outlook who is willing to stay and grow with our family - of course, this would also require experience with infants and general baby care. Driving is not a requirement for this position, and we are located conveniently close to several transit routes. Criminal record check, good references, CPR-C, and (as previously mentioned) experience with babies are essential for this position. Our expectations of a nanny are: Activities with baby: ? Walks/short outings ? Baby storytime at VPL ? Trips to grocery store/dry cleaners ? Read as many books as he will let you, 1-2 times/day ? ACTIVE play with baby whenever possible (i.e. allowing baby to play on his own on playmat or bouncey chair when you are doing the necessary housekeeping duties is acceptable, if he will allow it! Otherwise, please engage him in play?he especially likes to practice crawling!) ? Stick to daily napping and feeding routines ? NO television or computer/smartphone/tablet exposure to baby outside of taking photos ? Take lots of pictures of baby for us! Housekeeping duties: ? Wash dishes/empty dishwasher ? Wipe down kitchen and bathroom sinks and countertops ? Sweep/Swiffer floors ? Occasional vacuuming ? Keep tabletops neat and clean and safe ? Keep living room and baby?s room tidy ? Do baby?s laundry ? Fold family laundry ? Take down garbage and recycling once a parent is home ? Basic food prep for family and baby (chop and steam/puree fruit and veggies, make rice, etc) ? Sterilize baby bottles and accessories Please visit www.canadiannanny.ca to view full details and to apply. FREE REGISTRATION and lots of jobs to choose from!

Full Time, Live in/out Nanny/Light housework (CanadianNanny.ca) - Kelowna, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) Hello! We are a down-to-earth, happy family of 5 (2 parents and 3 young children) searching for our next nanny. We are looking for someone who can help our family and our home by assisting in taking care of the children and some household duties such as laundry and meal preparation. We have had live-in au pairs before (and our current au pair will be with us until early February) and are open to either a live-in or live-out arrangement. A little more about our family and our expectations: Both parents are working professionals - dad is an accountant who works full-time (Monday to Friday) and mom is a dentist who works 3 or 4 days per week. We have two daughters ages 6 and 4 and a son who is 2. The girls love to dance, do arts and crafts, ride their bikes and play with friends. Our little guy likes music and dancing, hockey and copying his sisters. The kids also all like the water and simming. We enjoy being active and being outdoors such as visiting playgrounds or the beach or riding bikes. Although we are not fancy chefs we do try to eat healthy meals as much as we can. Our nanny must be someone who is energetic and fun! Someone who truly enjoys spending time playing and being involved with the children. It is important that our nanny be confident and comfortable being responsible for the children's safety and well-being. Our oldest daughter is in grade one and takes the bus to and from school. We would expect our nanny to meet her at the bus stop after school. During the day, our nanny would care for our 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son. This includes driving our 4 year old daughter to and from preschool and other activities as well. We would also expect assistance with light household work such as taking care of the children's laundry, doing dishes and preparing meals for the children. If you think you may be a good fit for our family, please contact us so we can get to know each other better. We look forward to hearing from you! Please note that our nanny must be a non-smoker and have a valid driver's license. Please visit www.canadiannanny.ca to view full details and to apply. Full Time, Live-out Nanny/Pet Care/Cleaner (CanadianNanny.ca) - Kelowna, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) We have two lovely little girls who at the time the position begins (March or April 2016) will be 2.5 years old and almost 1 year old. Our girls are full of energy, enthusiasm and love with kind hearts. We also have a small dog who loves any and all attention she gets and is a sweetheart as well but doesn't require much maintenance. Our family is looking for someone long term to begin working for us Monday and Tuesday's, Wednesday's off then Thursday to Friday. The girls love to be outside so somebody who is active and can keep up by taking them on walks, trips to parks and splash parks and or pools, play places, play dates and the beach would be a must. Since my husband and I both work we would appreciate someone who can run small errands if the girls need something like a prescription picked up or a grocery shop so a licence and clean driving abstract is required, we will provide car seats. We have a regular cleaning lady but would require someone who can maintain the tidiness of the home with light duties. The successful candidate will be able to also prepare all day time meals and snacks for the girls, both girls have dairy and soy allergies but we can show you what we use for general substitutions like butter and milk when cooking. We also like to eat on the healthy/fresh and local side and could arrange for some foods to be delivered should this help. Basically we need someone who is comfortable cooking and can prepare a variety of meals as we aren't picky about flavours and trying new things, just the ingredients. We will need someone who is flexible on days as one of the days in the future might change to Saturday's so 3 week days and a Saturday but we will require a nanny for at least the next 4 years and probably beyond for at least after school care and Saturdays once the girls are in school full time so finding the right fit for us and for them is truly important. Please contact should you feel that you would be interested in this position. Thank you. Please visit www.canadiannanny.ca to view full details and to apply.
